New Resolution: Go Natural!

Everything these days is geared towards instant results, instant remedies and instant gratification. People don't have patience anymore to spend time and wait things out. You may be asking what my point is. Well, when it come to risking our futures trading in organic and natural solutiuons for fast synthetic remedies, I am very concerned. I was thinking of how often I use toners and astringents on my face and still I get all these breakouts. It hasn't blown to full on acne yet. I don't think it will, but I'm concerned that using these facial cleansers too often may not be the answer. And I haven't started on facial scrubs yet. So now I have decided, Screw facial products. I'm going natural for a while. Clean my face with a mild soap (Ivory) and warm water. Pat it gently instead of rubbing it. Apply moisturizer more often, and use makeup less frequently. Also I must sleep more often and drink water more. Water and sleep helps in cellular growth and can improve o...

Ooohhh.... Aaaaahhh... Oh Em Gee!!! I just can't stop gushing and lusting after these deliciously crafted handmade soaps from Savor , one of my favorite shops at Etsy. Let's just say I was curious. But my curiosity immediately turned to delight when I saw these glorious handmade soaps! So beautifully crafted and yet with the right mix of organic ingredients that will surely leave your skin clean and healthy. The natural oils and fruit essences will not put your skin's pH balance out of whack and keep the moisture in instead of out. This will also keep the fine lines from developing sooner on your skin. The more balanced the pH level and the better the mixture of oil and moisture on one's skin, the less likely you'll develop wrinkles in your late twenties or in your thirties. Looking ...

Organic Skin Care Information at Saffron Rouge

I was out shopping yesterday for my monthly supply of bathroom and skin care products. As much as possible I'd like to buy natural beauty products. So I kept checking out the list of ingredients on the label at the back of each product I pick regardless of the brand name. Some I can barely read because of the fine print and the number of ingredients listed. I had the impression that herbal ingredients such as witch hazel and rosemary makes a difference. I have also read that denatured alcohol and salicylic acid are de rigeur for some products. They keep the acne out and cleans the skin of bacterial residue. Though the skin may not be completely cleansed, it is safe to assume that besides having minimized pores and smoother skin texture one can avoid developing acne infections if these products were used with regularity. I was particularly concerned with the ingredients in the organic skin care product I use as toner. I was able to find a good toner with the prerequisite herbal ingr...
