A Missed Opportunity Learning to Play the Guitar

Playing a guitar (Photo credit: hugochisholm ) One of my cousin's sons is currently working as an apprentice at a guitar store and doing side jobs in repairing and restoring old and used guitars of friends and a few solid customers. He loves guitars, but he's not yet become a virtuoso. Rescuing the broken and the lonely among these timeless stringed instruments takes some more years of helping modern guitars get back their original luster. Right now, he's got a couple of branded guitars (I had a glimpse of his red and white Gibson in his bedroom) and several musician's accessories from DiMarzio that he used often during band practice. However, his passion for guitars and the music he makes with them is nothing short of inspirational. In comparison, I've little skill or experience with guitars. Listen To Music To Help You Relax

My battle with dopamine deficiency rages on. Lately, I have difficulties in focusing and relaxing because of my anxiety, which is also a symptom of lack in dopamine. I have tried using meditation and visualization techniques to calm my mind and emotions as well as relax my muscles. It works most of the time. I pair these techniques with relaxing or upbeat music that makes me feel lively for a while. I had two MP3 players before, but they were destroyed now from too much use. They were the cheap variety, so no surprise there. Now, I use WinAmp and Windows Media Player as mp3 players. I listen to music while I work on my computer all day long.
