All Natural Fat Burners

Green tea leaves steeping in an uncovered zhon...Image via Wikipedia

There are a multitude of fat burning products in the marketplace that it is hard to find the ones that actually work without causing damage to the body. A brief research on the web dug up some alarming info about a few ingredients of fat burners, such as ephedra, which was discovered to be harmful.

There are, of course, products that have all natural ingredients and still produce amazing slimming effects. The best fat burners are reviewed not only based on how fast they burn the fat from the body, but also how safe and what the other benefits are.

For the best fat burner for men and women, natural is still the best choice. Green tea combined with AcaiPure or ProActol can definitely work wonders for your body.

The best fat burner for women, however, may not be the best choice for men who want to develop their muscles. Women, who are more prone to mood swings and depression, will benefit from using Cylapril, which elevates the mood, eases depression, and lessens the stress.

The best fat burner for men would include BODA Extract No. 3, which not only burns fat, but also builds lean muscle. It was highly recommended by one website, Weight Loss HQ, in its list of "The Ultimate Top 10 Fat Burners."

Free Massage From Spa Riviera at SM City Iloilo

become a better version of yourselfImage by dMap Travel Guide via Flickr

Spa Riviera has just given free spa services to the public enjoying a nice a nice Sunday afternoon at SM City Iloilo.

Several adventurous people signed up for a free back rub, facial or foot massage in one of its relaxing chairs and sofas. The rest were shy to approach the attendants at the sign up desk because the area was visible to the public. Everyone else can see you being massaged at the back or on the foot.

I initially wanted a nice foot massage, but one other sign up desk caught my eye. It's the Hatha Yoga group that gives yoga classes everyday of the week at Jaro for only 50 pesos each session.

I know trips to the spa filter the stress and negative energy out of our system, but yoga can filter out the negativity in our spirit and mind. Aside from helping practitioners improve their lean musculature and promote flexibility in their limbs, yoga can also promote emotional and spiritual health. It is not necessarily a new religion. Yoga can be learned as an alternative form of exercise.

Invest In Your Health

TreadmillImage by yuan2003 via Flickr

The prices of medicine and hospital fees have risen considerably through the years. Investing on one's health can be one of the best money-saving decisions you will ever make.

1. Invest in Healthy Organic Food

Organic food is simply food that was not processed or mixed with superficial ingredients. Vegetables and fruits that were grown without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides are considered organic.

Choosing to eat organic food is a healthy option. Eating more garden salads and less fatty foods will do wonders in melting your belly fat away. Organic food is much safer, and probably have more nutrients in them than non-organic foods.

2. Invest in Vitamin and Herbal Supplements

Some people write off vitamin and herbal supplements as hoaxes or scams. It is true they do not immediately produce therapeutic effects for sick people. These health supplements, however, are not completely placebo stuff.

Herbal supplements, in particular, come from plants. Anti-oxidants and vitamins extracted from herbs and plants help cleanse the body and maintain a high level of energy, which our cells make use of to keep themselves operating smoothly. When our cells are healthy, our whole body is healthy.

3. Invest in Fitness Equipment

Eating healthy foods and taking health supplements are not enought. You will need sufficient exercise to burn the calories away and keep your body in shape. Investing in good fitness equipment can help.

A treadmill, a stationary bike and a set of dumbbells may be enough. The rest of your body can benefit from floor exercises. Invest in exercise mats and clothing. Remember to always keep your self hydrated and to not overdo exercises.

The First Year Of Marriage

FamiliesImage by normalityrelief via Flickr

Hold on to the baby announcements, newlyweds! The first year of marriage is a time for adjustments and having a baby during this period may not be a good idea.

For newlyweds who had a rather long engagement and have built a more stable relationship, the first year of marriage may require a short period--probably a few months--to adjust, but for young couples who had a shorter engagement, spending the first year getting used to being part of a couple is recommended.

Before the wedding, you were two individuals with your own stuff and your thing going on. You may be living together by then, or maybe not, but family and friends have different expectations from a married couple to an engaged couple.

If you and your partner are working, the first year of marriage may be a time to arrange your time with each other, your families and friends, and your work. By this time, you may have learned what your role is in your relationship. You may have also gotten used to being around his or her family more often.

Matters regarding money, making decisions, personal preferences, and your choices as a couple should be settled during the first year. Managing conflict resolution, embracing individual differences, and preparing for times when there is lack of passion are important issues to face during this time.

The honeymoon period does not only last for a few months. It may last up to a year. Enjoy your first year as a married couple. For women, get used to the change in surname, and for men, put your mindset to the fact that you are not a bachelor anymore.

My Pink Lappy Is Still Dandy

Wi-Fi logoImage via Wikipedia
I used to dream of buying the Acer Aspire 103 Model No. AOD150Bw, which is the white one. It's got the features I wanted--2GB memory, Intel® Atom™ Processor N280 (1.66GHz, 512Kb, 533MHz FSB), 160Gb SATA HDD, 10" LCD screen, Built-in 10/100 LAN, Built-in 802.11bg Wireless Network Connection, Built-in Bluetooth, and a 6-cell battery that can last more than 5 hours. Plus it only costs 20,000 pesos, which is 2,000 less than what I had paid for my Asus Eee 1005HA.

But, I do not mind much. My Asus Eee 1005HA is the newest model from ASUS, which is also a part of Acer. Not only that, instead of the common 802.11bg WiFi, I got the faster 802.11n Wireless Connection.

Me and my ASUS have been together for six months now, and so far, I have been satisfied with its performance. I have been using my pink laptop for almost 24 hrs each day. I have stuffed large amounts of data in it like videos and MP3s, and it hasn't broken down yet.

Pet insurance, anyone?

Life and auto insurance policies are usually purchased to protect human lives, but I was surprised to find that pets are also included in their owners' policies.

In auto insurance, a pet can be insured if it is found riding the vehicle that crashed. The pet is probably considered a valuable property of the vehicle's owner and may be insured for an appropriate amount.

The amount insured against will depend on the pet's breed, age and gender. A pet that has a significant breed and comes from a long line of champion show dogs will fetch a higher value.

Two Kits That Should Always Be In Every Home

Electrical tape, standard blackImage via Wikipedia

Every household should always have two kits available. One is the sewing kit and the other is the maintenance and electrical supplies kit. For small tears or a loose button, a sewing kit comes in handy in keeping clothes look tidy and stay longer in the drawers.

The maintenance and electrical supplies kit is right for keeping the house fit and tidy. Electrical tape, screwdrivers, extra screws and nails, a hammer, a small saw, and extra coils of copper wire, nylon rope and twine--these are just a few of the needed materials for fixing up broken stuff around the house. Other stuff needed in this kit should include superglue, pipe sealant, a paint brush, and a large pair of scissors.

Five Tips To Keep Your Fridge Fresh And Clean

the fridge is full!Image by Trinity via Flickr
Wherever there is moisture, bacteria is bound to thrive, even in low temperatures. The inside of our refrigerators is one such place. The bacteria not only causes illness, but also causes unpleasant odors inside the fridge.

Here are some tips to rid your fridge with unpleasant odors and keeping the food inside fresh and clean:

1. Throw out old food, especially the ones with molds on them. Do not keep spoiled food; keep dishes covered in plastic wrap so the taste and smell do not mix with the other food.

2. Clean out the fridge once a week. Throw out the spoiled food, and then take out the removable parts and soak them in a solution of 1 to 2 tablespoon and hot water.
As they are soaked, wipe down both the inside and the outside parts of the fridge.

You can also use vinegar or chlorine bleach. Mix one cup of vinegar or one-half cup chlorine bleach to a gallon of water.

3. Keep the odors at bay by placing either a tin of activated charcoal, a tin of cat litter, a box of baking soda or a tin of coffee grounds inside the fridge. Some people use commercial products like Fridge-IT, Odor Away or Super CD to keep the odors from staying.

4. If the odor still exists, then it must have seeped into the insulation. Have the refrigerator insulation changed to get rid of the odor.

5. If your fridge has a built-in water dispenser like the Maytag ukf8001axx, change your refrigerator water filter every six months. The water filter keeps out the chlorine, sediments, rust, and unpleasant smell from the water.

These five tips are just a few of the tricks you can apply to keep your refrigerator fresh and clean for your family's good health.

Five Ways Of Sleeping Better

I now have trouble sleeping because of my left arm pains. This upsets my natural sleep cycle. I have been waking up later than usual lately. Time for some natural intervention. Here are five good tips for the best sleep aids with only natural ingredients:

1. Chamomile Tea

Chamomile is one of the preferred herbs for naturally inducing sleep. The herb promotes calm and restfulness and may also be used to treat an upset stomach. It is gentle and safe enough to drink every day.

2. Lavender

Lavender is another herb that can be infused into a calming tea. However, it should be in small doses because too much of it can cause allergy or increased light sensitivity. The herb can also be used to treat insect bites, headaches and skin burns.

Place a sprig of lavender in your pillow case to help calm you through aromatherapy. Lighting up lavender-scented candles is another way.

3. Lemon Balm

Just like chamomile and lavender, the plant called lemon balm also helps in relaxing and calming one's system. This calming effect helps in inducing sleep. Hot tea infused with lemon helps before bedtime. Lighting up lemon-scented candles and filling the place with lemon, lavender or chamomile scented packets is a good idea.

4. Dim Lights

Our bodies respond to light and darkness. We feel drowsy when we are in a dim or dark room, and we feel more awake when we are in a brightly lighted place. To help you sleep well, you should lie down in a dark room. A soft night light is alright for those who do not like the totally dark.

5. Soothing Music and Sounds

Our minds respond to rhythmic sounds, especially the sound of waves, of a heart beating, or of white noise. Our minds also relax when we listen to soothing music, like bossa nova, jazz or any soft, slow song.

Needless to say, falling asleep is affected by how our senses react to stimuli. Lying in a dimly lit room, snug on a warm bed in a slightly cool environment, with the scents of lavender, chamomile and lemon filling the air, is a perfect place to sleep in. Drinking hot tea, hot milk or hot chocolate before bedtime helps the body to relax. Listening to soothing sounds relaxes not only the body, but also the mind. All these help in inducing sleepiness.
