Baby eating baby food (blended green beans)Image via WikipediaBaby food, especially homemade ones, need special baby food storage containers that are free from BPA, PVC and Pthalates, which we are usually exposed to by using plastic containers. Many baby food storage containers, such as Baby Cubes, are available in the market today.

However, if you want to save and still keep them containers safe for your baby, then you can use Ziploc bags or other plastic containers that are Pthalate, BPA and PVC free. Just be careful in using these storage containers for freezing or heating your baby's food.

Never ever store food in glass bottles or in aluminum cans because these pose dangers to your family's health. Glass jars not made for extreme temperatures can crack or break and spreading tiny shards into your food. Aluminum cans can contaminate the food and cause food poisoning.
