The Beauty of Tigbauan Church

Aside from the famous Church of Miag-ao, there is one other church that tourists coming this Dinagyang should go visit. It is the parish church of Tigbauan, which is a town located before Guimbal, the town before Miag-ao. Inside the Tigbauan church, visitors can see beautiful works of art made from glass mosaic tile.

Windows, walls and floors are decorated with designs made from colored glass tiles. When the sun is high and shines through the glass mosaic windows, the moving colors of the rainbow fall like undulating ribbons of light on the pews and the tiled floor.

A brief vacation

I have just got back from UP Diliman for a week of respite. I had training for trainers at UP SoLaIR (School of Labor and Industrial Relations). It was a working vacation. At least I had time to slow down and not think of work for a few days. It was good! Really felt good to be taken cared of by the University Hotel staff.
