Is being thin worth sacrifing good health?

Are there diet pills that work, I mean REALLY work? Because those pills that people say works for them may not be safe or effective for them. Take for instance, those controversial Bangkok pills that have a dangerous chemical ingredient. As a result, they were banned by health agencies all over the world.

Many diet pills in the US, like Bangkok pills, also have dangerous chemical components in them. Yes, they are effective in losing fat, but your body can't keep up with the fat loss and your health deteriorates.

Is it worth the risk just to be thin? For some people, the answer is yes. Being healthy is less important than looking like a supermodel. Appearances have more value in our superficial world than simply good health.

A brief vacation

I have just got back from UP Diliman for a week of respite. I had training for trainers at UP SoLaIR (School of Labor and Industrial Relations). It was a working vacation. At least I had time to slow down and not think of work for a few days. It was good! Really felt good to be taken cared of by the University Hotel staff.
