After watching my mom complain about the additional 50% fine for delayed registration for private vehicles, it's a relief to find the oft postponed deed is finally done. A friend of ours processed the papers, which include also the car's insurance and the results of emission testing.

There is one thing I learned after this fiasco: always mark the calendar for the car's renewal date. Another thing is to always look at car insurance reviews before paying the insurance fees. Sometimes, drivers pay any company that has a booth or a small office near the Land Transportation Office just to fulfill requirements. Later, they realize how limited the insurance policy they paid for.

A brief vacation

I have just got back from UP Diliman for a week of respite. I had training for trainers at UP SoLaIR (School of Labor and Industrial Relations). It was a working vacation. At least I had time to slow down and not think of work for a few days. It was good! Really felt good to be taken cared of by the University Hotel staff.
