One of my friends is having his birthday party this weekend. He had been working in Singapore for more than 6 months now and he's now vacationing. It's just a few days, but the gang and I have not seen him for a long while.

One thing that really made an impression on him was the racing arena in Singapore. He loved watching the cars, the cockpit, and the crowds. Because of that I got him a discounted Nascar jacket that I got from eBay. I'm sure he'll be ecstatic once he sees what he got from me for his birthday.

A brief vacation

I have just got back from UP Diliman for a week of respite. I had training for trainers at UP SoLaIR (School of Labor and Industrial Relations). It was a working vacation. At least I had time to slow down and not think of work for a few days. It was good! Really felt good to be taken cared of by the University Hotel staff.
