Great Wedding Photos

Another couple who were also my friends since high school have just had their wedding photos published in a local magazine. They were very beautiful. They were married in an old cathedral at Molo and they held the following reception at one of the heritage homes in the city, Nelly's Garden. It was obviously a close family affair. Not many of us in our high school batch knew that they came home from the States to get wed here in Iloilo. But, nevertheless, we are all happy for the two of them. Congratulations and Best Wishes to Lito and Noreen!

New House For Newlyweds

I just saw the photos of my friend's new house at Cainta, Rizal. This will be the warm cozy love-nest she and her husband will rear their children in the future. After their romantic honeymoon in South America's Machu Picchu travel spots, a comfortable abode in the Philippines is a refreshing place to rest in. As of now, I feel the same desire to acquire a nice home in some clean and quiet subdivision. However, I rather prefer to stay here in Iloilo. Maybe a little bit on the edge of the city limits, but not so far me and my mate will have a hard time getting to work in the morning.

The Benefits of Fish Oil on Skin

Fish oil is more popularly known as good for the heart, but also good for the skin? Yes, it was found out that fish oil is high in three kinds of essential, non-saturated fatty acids called Omega-3s: α-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). By 'essential', it means that it can not be created by your body and you will have to include it in your diet. According to a health fellow in his blog post " Natural Skin Care ," a study conducted on 24 women revealed positive results. After taking fish oil supplements for 3 months, it was found that there was a 10% increase in skin elasticity among the women by the end of the experiment. The omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil also enhance one's mood and helps in the development of embryos in pregnant women.

Sunday's Luxury Date

Image via Wikipedia Luxury hotel rooms are the best places to spend your romantic date in. Me and my BF have just had our weekend date at a luxurious hotel room. It was great! Hotels are well known for their excellent service and the ultimate comfort they provide for their clients. Aside from that, hotels are often found within the heart of the city. For lovers who want a romantic getaway but can not "get away" as faster or sooner as they wanted may want to consider renting a room at a hotel. It gives them the same bit of privacy and intimacy without sacrificing time or distance.

New Insurance Company

There is a new business insurance company that has set up a marketing kiosk at Atrium Iloilo. It's name is Axxa. With the current economic situation, the insurance industry might be one of the institutions to be affected. But Axxa seems to be a stable player. It might be worth to check it out and, if the information looks reliable, then why not inquire for their insurance plans? I'll be dropping by their booth after work on Monday afternoon.

Keep Sprays Away From Eyes

As a follow up on protecting one's eyes, try to keep hairsprays and perfume sprays away from your eyes. They will cause pain and irritation just like self defense products mace and pepper spray do. If ever you accidentally sprayed into your eyes, wash immediately with water and visit the doctor for a checkup pronto! Using eye drops may worsen the irritation rather than help ease it. Refrain from touching or rubbing your eyes as this might cause infection to your wounded eyes.

Tips on How to Care for your Eyes

My bout with an eye infection got me totally conscious on caring for my eyes. I have stopped touching them directly with my fingers since the hands are often dirty and exposed to different allergens. That is why I often rubbed them with alcohol. Nevertheless, rubbing one's eyes will still cause some problems. Sore eyes, eye strain, eye sty, and other eye problems can start with neglectful handling of one's eyes. Here are some tips on how to care for your eyes any time of the year: 1. Eat a diet rich in Vitamin A and beta-carotene. Yellow fruits and veggies are rich in Vitamin A and orange ones are filled with beta-carotene. These will help keep your eyesight healthy and improve eye health. 2. Do not stay up late. Besides tiring your eyes losing sleep can also cause eye bags and dark circles to form under your eyes. 3. Moderate use of eye drops can help ease tired eyes, but over use can also cause problems. Make sure to read the label and understand which type of eye drops are u...
