Your Skin Can Still Look Great After 40

Image by bloody marty mix via Flickr Is there a way that we can avoid wrinkles, lines, dry skin, and other problems from making our skin look as old as we are? Back in the good old days, we spent endless hours on the beach, tanning our skin to our heart's content, and feeling that our young and soft skin would never grow old. Now, some of us over 40 are paying dearly with skin that's turning to leather before our very eyes. How can we keep our skin glowing and look younger despite the dreaded specter of middle age? We need to know that there are two types of aging that affects our skin: intrinsic (genes) and extrinsic (external reasons, such as exposure to the sun's rays). While some deterioration of the skin goes along with the aging process, there are ways we can lessen its effects. Try cutting down on facial expressions and grimaces. You could easily develop deep lines underneath your eyes and mouth by making repetitive facial expressions like frowns,

Norepinephrine in the brain can suppress hunger pangs

There are two types of slimming pills based on how they help you lose the extra fat. One group burns the fat and the body excretes it as oil in your feces. The other group suppresses appetite, which does not make you feel hungry at all. Both groups have their fans with testimonials of how effective these diet pills have been. In the second group, I have read of many brands and types, but one of the most lauded is phentermine , which works by encouraging the release of norepinephrine in the brain that suppresses appetite. It is similar to amphetamines, which causes heart palpitations, increased blood pressure, sleeplessness, and restlessness.

Is being thin worth sacrifing good health?

Are there diet pills that work , I mean REALLY work? Because those pills that people say works for them may not be safe or effective for them. Take for instance, those controversial Bangkok pills that have a dangerous chemical ingredient. As a result, they were banned by health agencies all over the world. Many diet pills in the US, like Bangkok pills, also have dangerous chemical components in them. Yes, they are effective in losing fat, but your body can't keep up with the fat loss and your health deteriorates. Is it worth the risk just to be thin? For some people, the answer is yes. Being healthy is less important than looking like a supermodel. Appearances have more value in our superficial world than simply good health.

Freelancing Work Is Tough

My mind is a blank. The flickering light from the silent TV stands as a guiding illumination to my tired fingers trying to find their way across the keyboard. My job as a freelance writer has its perks in terms of monetary gains, but it also takes a toll on my eyes, my back and my sanity. I often find myself slaving away in front of the PC alone and awake in the middle of the night. My employers are on different time zones and I had to adjust to them most of the time. Don't get me wrong. I love writing, blogging, and interacting with other bloggers. It is the loneliness that often gets to my head and sometimes weakens my resolve to work. Lately, I have noticed I instinctively recoil at the thought of writing another article on the same topic over and over again. I would love a change of pace and a change in tasks. Tinkering around my Wordpress blog has given me a short respite to this dark period in my work life. I hope it passes soon so I can work and breathe again at the s
