Using Aloe Vera For Treating Acne

Image via Wikipedia Aloe vera has been used for curing skin problems, like dandruff, and small burns, which are easily healed by aloe. It can also be used as acne solution because aloe has cleansing properties. Acne is caused by bacteria that infect the pimples on one's face. The oil glands that overproduce the sebum fill up the skin pores and the pimple grows from clogged skin pores. Cleaning up the skin and encouraging it to grow younger, healthier cells will control the acne growth. Pimples are not only caused by lack of good skin hygiene. Diet also plays a role in causing overproduction of sebum. Control the types of foods you eat. Avoid eating too much nuts and meat. Drink plenty of water and exercise regularly to expel excess oil and sweat from the body. This keeps the pores clean. Many drinks have begun using aloe vera extract in them. An example is the drink on the right mixing aloe vera with guava. Another type mixes flavored water with aloe vera bits. It tastes good and

Using Aloe Vera For Treating Eczema

Image via Wikipedia My boyfriend's got better skin quality than I. His skin is paler in hue and smoother with smaller and tighter pores. He has the usual man hair on the right places, but his one blemish is the area near his navel. This is where his belt buckle lies against tightly everyday. His skin is sensitive to the buckle's chemical coat that the skin has reddened and developed a scaly layer, much like a dry eczema growing. One way to ease the itch is to apply aloe vera on the affected area. Aloe is a good natural eczema treatment . It also has a cooling effect that soothes the itchiness. Aloe vera ointments and lotions are available in pharmacies and drugstores. Find one near you.

Keep Taking The Vitamins

Image by Getty Images via Daylife One of my weakest spots in my body is my eyes. I recently had a bit of infection in my left eye. Fortunately, it did not affect the inside of my eye. The swelling and pain stayed on my eyelid. It was probably just a stye, but there was no pus or white growth. One day later, the swelling went down, but I remained careful with touching the area too much or using my towel when wiping the water from my eyes when I take a bath. The risk of infection from my hands or my towel is too much to neglect the practice of cleaning up my hands and wiping it with alcohol regularly. I admit I have been neglecting my daily dose of vitamins lately. I take vitamin C , vitamin E and anti-oxidant capsules. With vitamin C, I use Fern-C, which is a better option than the usual vitamins being sold at drugstores. Fern-C is alkaline, which helps the body absorb it better than acidic Vitamin C. You can buy a box of Fern-C with 100 capsules for only 500 pesos.

My Fave SEO Tools

Image via Wikipedia I have just updated my Firefox browser. I have to delete one of the plugins that allow me to create different profiles. As a result, I lost some of the SEO tools I use in my job. No problem, though, because I have a backup of my addons stored. I got them all back in no time. I can not NOT use those SEO tools in the course of my job. My all-time favorite is, of course, Quirk SearchStatus . For the rest, I use only trusted authorities in SEO, like Google and SEOBook . Not all the SEO tools can be used as addons in Firefox, however. There are a few that are used only in-browser, like keyword search tools. For this, I use Google, the most reliable source for keywords. For link checking, I use other means, like Backlink Watch, which is also recommended by Mr SEOBook himself, Aaron Wall.

The Natural Benefits Of Aloe Vera

Image via Wikipedia The leaves of the aloe vera herb has been used as herbal medicine for various ailments. Aloe contains slippery elements that ease burns and heal wounds. An aloe constituent, acemannan, stimulates production of macrophages in the body. Macrophages are disease-fighting white blood cells that engulf foreign elements in the blood, eating up viruses and dead cells to clean up the body's system. Another constituent, aloin, has been the subject of extensive clinical research into curing cancer. Modern clinical research has shown that aloe is one of the best herbs for soothing skin and healing burns, rashes, frostbite, and severe wounds. It also is used to treat eczema, dandruff, acne, ringworm, gum disease, poison oak and poison ivy. Aloe vera is also found in a number of creams and lotions for softening and moisturizing the skin. It works by inhibiting formation of tissue-injuring compounds that gather at the site of a skin injury. The plant contains chrysophanic

All Natural Fat Burners

Image via Wikipedia There are a multitude of fat burning products in the marketplace that it is hard to find the ones that actually work without causing damage to the body. A brief research on the web dug up some alarming info about a few ingredients of fat burners, such as ephedra, which was discovered to be harmful. There are, of course, products that have all natural ingredients and still produce amazing slimming effects. The best fat burners are reviewed not only based on how fast they burn the fat from the body, but also how safe and what the other benefits are. For the best fat burner for men and women, natural is still the best choice. Green tea combined with AcaiPure or ProActol can definitely work wonders for your body. The best fat burner for women, however, may not be the best choice for men who want to develop their muscles. Women, who are more prone to mood swings and depression, will benefit from using Cylapril, which elevates the mood, eases depression, and lessens the

Free Massage From Spa Riviera at SM City Iloilo

Image by dMap Travel Guide via Flickr Spa Riviera has just given free spa services to the public enjoying a nice a nice Sunday afternoon at SM City Iloilo. Several adventurous people signed up for a free back rub, facial or foot massage in one of its relaxing chairs and sofas. The rest were shy to approach the attendants at the sign up desk because the area was visible to the public. Everyone else can see you being massaged at the back or on the foot. I initially wanted a nice foot massage, but one other sign up desk caught my eye. It's the Hatha Yoga group that gives yoga classes everyday of the week at Jaro for only 50 pesos each session. I know trips to the spa filter the stress and negative energy out of our system, but yoga can filter out the negativity in our spirit and mind. Aside from helping practitioners improve their lean musculature and promote flexibility in their limbs, yoga can also promote emotional and spiritual health. It is not necessarily a new religion. Invest In Your Health

Image by yuan2003 via Flickr The prices of medicine and hospital fees have risen considerably through the years. Investing on one's health can be one of the best money-saving decisions you will ever make. 1. Invest in Healthy Organic Food Organic food is simply food that was not processed or mixed with superficial ingredients. Vegetables and fruits that were grown without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides are considered organic. Choosing to eat organic food is a healthy option. Eating more garden salads and less fatty foods will do wonders in melting your belly fat away. Organic food is much safer, and probably have more nutrients in them than non-organic foods. 2. Invest in Vitamin and Herbal Supplements Some people write off vitamin and herbal supplements as hoaxes or scams. It is true they do not immediately produce therapeutic effects for sick people. These health supplements, however, are not completely placebo stuff. Herbal supplements, in particula

The First Year Of Marriage

Image by normalityrelief via Flickr Hold on to the baby announcements , newlyweds! The first year of marriage is a time for adjustments and having a baby during this period may not be a good idea. For newlyweds who had a rather long engagement and have built a more stable relationship, the first year of marriage may require a short period--probably a few months--to adjust, but for young couples who had a shorter engagement, spending the first year getting used to being part of a couple is recommended. Before the wedding, you were two individuals with your own stuff and your thing going on. You may be living together by then, or maybe not, but family and friends have different expectations from a married couple to an engaged couple. If you and your partner are working, the first year of marriage may be a time to arrange your time with each other, your families and friends, and your work. By this time, you may have learned what your role is in your relationship. You may have also

My Pink Lappy Is Still Dandy

Image via Wikipedia I used to dream of buying the Acer Aspire 103 Model No. AOD150Bw, which is the white one. It's got the features I wanted--2GB memory, Intel® Atom™ Processor N280 (1.66GHz, 512Kb, 533MHz FSB), 160Gb SATA HDD, 10" LCD screen, Built-in 10/100 LAN, Built-in 802.11bg Wireless Network Connection, Built-in Bluetooth, and a 6-cell battery that can last more than 5 hours. Plus it only costs 20,000 pesos, which is 2,000 less than what I had paid for my Asus Eee 1005HA. But, I do not mind much. My Asus Eee 1005HA is the newest model from ASUS, which is also a part of Acer. Not only that, instead of the common 802.11bg WiFi, I got the faster 802.11n Wireless Connection. Me and my ASUS have been together for six months now, and so far, I have been satisfied with its performance. I have been using my pink laptop for almost 24 hrs each day. I have stuffed large amounts of data in it like videos and MP3s, and it hasn't broken down yet.

Two Kits That Should Always Be In Every Home

Image via Wikipedia Every household should always have two kits available. One is the sewing kit and the other is the maintenance and electrical supplies kit. For small tears or a loose button, a sewing kit comes in handy in keeping clothes look tidy and stay longer in the drawers. The maintenance and electrical supplies kit is right for keeping the house fit and tidy. Electrical tape, screwdrivers, extra screws and nails, a hammer, a small saw, and extra coils of copper wire, nylon rope and twine--these are just a few of the needed materials for fixing up broken stuff around the house. Other stuff needed in this kit should include superglue, pipe sealant, a paint brush, and a large pair of scissors.

Five Tips To Keep Your Fridge Fresh And Clean

Image by Trinity via Flickr Wherever there is moisture, bacteria is bound to thrive, even in low temperatures. The inside of our refrigerators is one such place. The bacteria not only causes illness, but also causes unpleasant odors inside the fridge. Here are some tips to rid your fridge with unpleasant odors and keeping the food inside fresh and clean: 1. Throw out old food, especially the ones with molds on them. Do not keep spoiled food; keep dishes covered in plastic wrap so the taste and smell do not mix with the other food. 2. Clean out the fridge once a week. Throw out the spoiled food, and then take out the removable parts and soak them in a solution of 1 to 2 tablespoon and hot water. As they are soaked, wipe down both the inside and the outside parts of the fridge. You can also use vinegar or chlorine bleach. Mix one cup of vinegar or one-half cup chlorine bleach to a gallon of water. 3. Keep the odors at bay by placing either a tin of activated charcoal, a tin o
