After the summer has gone, the rainy days shall come trotting round the corner. Some days it's just a little rain shower while we experience a massive thunderstorm for a day or two. Before the rains come, homeowners should prepare their houses to days of wet and cold weather. One way is to reapply the seals lining the windows. Another way is to check the gaskets in your car's engine in case you'll have to drive through flooded streets. Yet, another place to check is your plumbing, including the pipes where the rain flow down from the roof's eaves. be sure to check whether your indoor plumbing and heating system also work in case you'll be forced to stay indoors during a storm.
