Them Riding Boots Were Made For Petite Women

I'm petite and I'd like to wear boots someday, preferably the sort that look like a pair of riding boots would suffice. I like stilettos, but riding boots seem less painful to wear and provide more support than stiletto boots. For petite women like me, the best pair of riding boots should have a shaft that's at most 15 inches tall. The shaft is measured along the inside seam of the boot.

I stand 4 feet 11 inches barefooted and should wear a pair of boots with a shaft as tall as 12 to 14 inches, and a sole size of at least 34 or 35 in the US metric. The best tip when shopping for a pair of boots is to choose an elastic gusset that can accommodate calves with wide girth. Wear leggings or jeans with the same color as your boots or wear a short skirt to lengthen your legs.
